I don't know why, but I can't resist an old wooden box. Maybe it because I wonder what treasures they've held, or maybe it's because they've survived and not been chopped up for firewood. This old dark wood box is divided into compartments inside and has been whitewashed. With it's beautiful old heavy hinges and latch, it's my idea of a perfect bedside table.
