Made in the Alsace region of France this beautiful salt glazed pottery has been made by traditional potters for generations. These grey and cobalt blue large confit pots would have often been used for storing their meat and keeping it cool or preserving their food in olive oil. Now this aged pot would look amazing on a windowsill or coffee table, adding a bit of history and character to a room. It has characteristics according to it's age as shown in the photos.
